Ayutthaya Counsel began with a straightforward observation: families dealing with inheritance and estate matters in Thailand often arrive at legal appointments feeling uncertain, sometimes overwhelmed, and frequently unsure what questions to ask. The paperwork is unfamiliar, the timelines are unclear, and the personal circumstances are often tender.

The practice was established in Bangkok to address that gap — not by simplifying the law, but by explaining it thoroughly and standing alongside clients as they work through it. The name draws from the enduring heritage of the Ayutthaya Kingdom, a reference to continuity, careful record-keeping, and the orderly transfer of responsibility across generations.

From its earliest engagements, the firm focused on three areas: helping individuals understand their inheritance position, supporting executors through the administration of estates, and representing clients in formal estate proceedings where necessary. That focus has remained consistent.

Our mission is to make inheritance law accessible and manageable for the people who need it. This means explaining processes in plain language, setting honest expectations about timelines and costs, and treating each matter as the particular situation it is — not a routine transaction.
