The Situation

What We Did

We prepared a written summary explaining this clearly, including what steps would be required to transfer title and close accounts. This was shared with all four siblings.

The Outcome

The written summary provided a common reference point for the family. Discussions between the siblings resumed, and within six weeks they had agreed on how to proceed. One sibling subsequently engaged us for executor support. The assessment took three weeks from initial instruction.

We prepared the court application for executor appointment, liaised directly with the land department for the condominium transfer, and coordinated with the banks for account closure and fund transfer. The client received a step-by-step progress summary at each stage. We also translated relevant official correspondence into English.

The Outcome

Executor appointment was obtained within two months. The condominium was transferred to the named heir within a further four months. Bank accounts were closed and funds transferred within the same period. Total duration from instruction to completion: approximately five and a half months.

The Situation

A third party had been named as primary beneficiary under that will.

What We Did

We reviewed the available evidence, obtained medical records relevant to the testator's condition at the time of execution, and prepared formal court proceedings contesting the validity of the will. The case was argued over five hearings across approximately eight months, with full representation at each stage.

The Outcome

The court found in favour of the clients. The later will was set aside and the estate was distributed under an earlier will and the statutory inheritance framework. The estate was formally resolved approximately eleven months after initial instruction.
